We are the Wallyford Community Church

We are a Christ centred church. We believe that church is more than a place - it's a family. Our meetings are simple, Christ-centred and open to everyone - from the curious to the committed.

What drives us forward?

It's our DNA. It's what makes us tick. 3 aspects to what we do, and what is important to us. Have a read below to get a flavour of who we are. They make up our logo, an endless work of getting to know Jesus, connecting with Him and His church, and then telling others.

KNOW

We want to study the whole Bible, submitting to its authority.
We want to know God as He reveals Himself in the Bible.
We want to preach the good news of a crucified and risen Saviour clearly and without compromise.
We want to teach the Bible faithfully in an engaging, relevant and practical way.

CONNECT

We want to be a community dedicated to prayer and to worshipping God; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We want to disciple each other to become more like Jesus, to love and treasure Him more deeply.
We want to care for and support our church family.
We want to serve God’s church and glorify Him in all we do.

TELL

We want to encourage people to share the great news of the gospel with those around us and to be creative in how this is done.
We want to impact the areas where God has placed us.
We want to be involved in church planting.
We want to support and send people to missions at home and abroad.

We meet every week

During the week, you can find us at different events, and at the weekend we meet every morning for morning service.

Home Groups

These are gatherings during the week to reflect more on the Sunday morning talk, to go deeper in the Bible and to pray for one another. We encourage everyone to have a smaller group at the church to grow with and pray with.

We have a fantastic facility, ready to explore and are open on Thursdays during term time at 10am-11.30am. Come along and meet other parents and carers, give a small donation of £1.50 and enjoy good company.

Blaze

We have two groups of teenagers who meet every Sunday from 6pm. If you're between P7 and S3, you're welcome at 6pm. And if you're S4+, we'll see you at 7.15pm! The meetings are always a lot of fun, with games and Bible exposition.
